I built something to help you look back on your year

Before the year wraps, I wanted to share something big from 2025, and a few things I’m intentionally bringing with me into 2026.

Your 2025 Recap ✨

Earlier this year, Brian and I launched Luxe Studio, a photo and video editing app we built from the ground up.

One of our newest features is 2025 Recap, and it feels especially fitting right now. It automatically turns a year’s worth of your photos and videos into a short highlight video, so you can capture the moments that mattered most to you.

If you want an easy way to reflect on your year without sitting down to edit, this was built for you.

Launching Luxe

The birth of Luxe Studio came from wanting a simpler, more intuitive way to edit content that still feels elevated and intentional. Less overwhelm, less fuss, and tools that support the way we create now.

Building something from scratch while creating content, running a business, and raising a toddler stretched me more than I expected. It was exciting, humbling, exhausting, and deeply fulfilling all at once. Seeing people use something we dreamed up at our kitchen island has been one of the most meaningful parts of my year.

I'd love to hear your feedback so please reply to this email with anything you love about the app, any bugs you find, or anything you think is missing.

What I’m bringing into 2026

As this year closes, I’ve been reflecting on what actually made a difference for me, and what I want more of going forward.

  • More sleep and intentional rest
  • A better work life balance
  • Doing fewer things, better
  • Building routines that support my life
  • Letting consistency do the heavy lifting

Thank you for being here, for reading, and for supporting my work in all the ways you do. I’m heading into the new year with more clarity than ever, and I’m so grateful to have you along for the ride.

If you’d like to try Luxe Studio or create your own 2025 Recap, you can download the app here. I’d love to know what moments you choose to share!

With so much love,
Nichole
